The recent extensions on this spacious home in Brisbane's northern suburbs prompted the owners to consider their current home security needs.
The clients wanted to embrace the indoor-outdoor lifestyle offered by their extensive outdoor entertaining areas, and needed a security solution that would give them protection without feeling as though they were living in a fortress.
This was a significant project, with multiple doors and windows. The house being designed with separate wings that wrap around a central courtyard, meant that each part of the home needed reliable security that would give the residents peace of mind, knowing they could leave their windows and doors open safely, no matter which part of the home they were enjoying.
The main concern was that the security would not obstruct the views of the resort-style pool, gardens and alfresco entertaining areas.
